Did you know that roughly 80% of fire departments across Canada rely on volunteer firefighters?  The departments are filled with hard working individuals just like you, with busy lives, and plenty of responsibilities. These same individuals who answer the call come from all walks of life with different backgrounds, all with one main thing in common:  a dedication to serve and protect the residents and property of their communities. We are prepared to be there on your worst days.

Firefighters are frequently called to various types of emergencies beyond fire suppression.  Each fire department holds different service agreements.  Often firefighters are dispatched to medical emergencies, vehicle accidents, hazardous materials incidents, technical rescue operations, flooding and inclement weather response and wildland fires, just to name a few.  If you want to know more about the fire services in your community, reach out to your municipality or fire department for more details.
